This started as a journal about how much secondary infertility sucks, but it’s expanded. I post about parenting, political issues, mental health issues, marriage, pets, and funny things that happen in everyday life.

Here’s the main people mentioned in the blog:

– my son. Danny. Age 9. Third grader. Smart, funny, sweet, and a handful.

– my husband. Ken. IT guy. Also smart, funny, and sweet. Very patient.

-our pets, Miles and Bennett (“Benny”). Miles is a black cat, Benny is a schnauzer (maybe shnoodle?). Both were rescued from animal shelters. Both are hilarious.

– and me. I’m Sheilah. I’m a lawyer, and hoping to be more of a writer.

You can find me on facebook or email me  if you have any questions.

We did go to McAuley together! I read your story, and I’m so sorry that you’ve gone through this. I hope things get better for you. Your daughter is adorable, by the way!
